What a wonderful evening we had! 47 people joined us on Saturday, March 1st for a vibrant celebration of dance and culture, bringing together the Zorya Dancers, a fantastic Ukrainian folk dance group, and a lively English folk band.
The energy in the room was electric as participants learned new dances from both the Ukrainian and English traditions, sharing steps and laughter. It was a true testament to the power of dance to connect people and build bridges between cultures. The evening perfectly captured the essence of Anglo-Ukrainian friendship, fostering understanding and connection through shared joy.

A huge thank you to the incredible band, made up of players from Oxford University and the Oxford City Morris Sides who provided the perfect soundtrack to the evening, the talented callers Natalia and Steph who guided us through the dances, and the entire Zorya dance group for sharing their passion and expertise. Your enthusiasm made the event truly special.
We are thrilled to announce that the Oxford Kharkiv Association has reached its target and has raised an impressive £1000 for the charity Kharpp. These funds will support their vital work in the Kharkiv region, repairing war-damaged homes and public buildings.
